Yup, The title is correct. I’ve got a Sephora Haul from way back in the summer, that I finally got around to filming mid September, and am just now uploading at the end of October. Honestly this should be titled the I don’t give a F about skincare but I want good skin guide. Because A) Gender Neutrality… guys want nice skin too! and B) Most all the ‘Lazy Girl’ skin care guides I’ve read aren’t really for the lazy. Current Favorites | The (mostly) Skincare Edition

Okay short attention span friends, here is the finale to my Current Favorites. AND, lucky for you, one of my shortest videos yet! (high fives self). I posted my Current Makeup Favorites last week (watch and read it here!) But now here is all the goop skincare wise (mostly) I’ve been slathering onto this body as of late. The video has the scoop, but there’s some sneak peaks and an abbreviated rundown below! I have not used faked tan since I turned myself into a streaked orange mess in grade school (which ultimately resulted in wearing long pants and sleeves in 90 degree weather). Since my wedding was coming up I wanted to add a little bit of color to this strobelight complexion of mine. Trilogy Skincare: Organic Rosehip Oil, Cream Cleanser and Hydrating Toner

When a super model, a princess and my favorite burlesque dancer all seem to dig the same oil, the annoying skincare obsessive inside me has to know what the fuss is about. I’ve tested out some products from the New Zealand Skincare brand Trilogy over the last few months and have been loving this Rosehip based line. Trilogy was founded by two sisters, Sarah Gibbs and Catherine de Groot, nearly fifteen years ago. This natural, organic, and eco friendly line, based around the powerhouse that is Rosehip Oil, has some of the most awarded oils on the market. Rosehip is definitely having a bit of a heyday right now. I think it swooped in some time last year and stole the crown off of Argan Oil’s head. Holy baby Jesus it’s March! Damn, it is not a new year any longer. Guess it is time to stop saying what I want to do with 2016 and just get to doing it! This year is gonna be a big one for me, not only am I getting married but I’m also turning 30. Surprisingly neither of those things feel scary, honestly they just feel long over do. I knew from the first time I was alone with Jeff that he was the one. And I’m pretty glad to say goodbye to my twenties, they were riddled with self doubt and confusion. I’m not counting on my 30’s to be a breeze, but I am looking forward to a little more grounded sense of self. I’ve put so much work into myself over the last year, that thirty will feel a little like a mile marker for me, and I’m ready to celebrate! Well, It’s official, I’ve joined the Sunday Riley cult. I just seem to freaking love her stuff, and now the Blue Moon Tranquility Cleansing Balm* is the newest product to steal my heart and wallet. At $50 a pop, this is THE MOST EXPENSIVE CLEANSER I HAVE EVER PURCHASED. Seriously, what’s wrong with me? Sunday Riley Power Couple: Luna Sleeping Night Oil & Good Genes Lactic Acid Treatment

If you are into the beauty scene you have probably heard the name Sunday Riley once or twice by now. Seems like every wide-eyed-youtuber has raved about the Luna Sleeping Night Oil over the past year, which adds speculation no doubt. When something is so heavily exposed it makes you think a PR team is working pretty damn hard on sending out freebies to gather hype. Some people really love Sunday Riley products and some people, including myself, have been turned off by the price pint. Most products are reaching, if not past $100. That is some mother-fucking-aspirational pricing for sure. So when the ‘Power Couple‘* set came out this past holiday season, I wasn’t surprised that it had a hard time staying in stock.
