Art and a Wide Leg

Last week Jeff and I finally got a chance to check out the much buzzed about 14th Factory: a multi-media interactive art experience tucked away just outside of Downtown. It’s a massive space, with something new around every corner. I’ve been wanting to expand my blog- It’s mainly beauty on here, but I want to incorporate more happenings in and around Los Angeles, Travel and yes, a bit of Fashion too. So having husband in tow, I had him document these new (er) jeans I’ve been living in from Madewell. So here is a strange hybrid post: part longwinded art rambling and part superficial enjoyment for a pair of pants. About those Pants… I am happy wide legs and culottes are finding their way back into style. Skinny Jeans can feel a bit suffocating, and, well, revealing. I’ve always had great luck with Madewell Jeans, even being short of stature, I can usually find something that works by them. These Wide-Leg Crop Jeans have a hip hugging high waist, that on me sits just above …

Favorites | April

Here we go again guys! Another month has gone by, so another favorites post and video is due! I was pleasantly surprised that the majority of my April favorites are bargain buys! NEAT. May is already shaping up to be a great month, already a bunch of new products in, adventures documented and DIYs ready to be made, so make sure you are subscribed to my channel! I’ve been slowly trying out the Glossier product range, and the Milky Jelly Cleanser is definitely my favorite out of the bunch. It’s a nice mild cleanser, that does a nice job of cleaning the skin with out drying you out. Expect a full Glossier post in the very near future. Gotta give a hand to NYX Soft Matte …

This year is gonna be a big one for me, not only am I getting married but I’m also turning 30. Surprisingly neither of those things feel scary, honestly they just feel long over do. I knew from the first time I was alone with Jeff that he was the one. And I’m pretty glad to say goodbye to my twenties, they were riddled with self doubt and confusion. I’m not counting on my 30’s to be a breeze, but I am looking forward to a little more grounded sense of self. I’ve put so much work into myself over the last year, that thirty will feel a little like a mile marker for me, and I’m ready to celebrate! Okay, enough feelings and let’s get to what you’re really here for…. THE STUFF!!! I’ve got a lot of it! and (personal …
