Monochrome Makeup with Bite Beauty Multisticks

I’ve written about makeup in past favorites posts, but this is my first time dedicating one to the act of actually wearing it! I’ve really been branching out from my usually no-makeup makeup looks with a bit of color this season and Bite Beauty’s Multistick has been my guy! The Bite Beauty Multisticks are pretty much all over youtube and the blog world right now. All the cool girls have been showing off their high fashion monochrome makeup looks for fall and I wanna be a part of the club! The cream to powder formula on these guys makes them a great all around product. You can apply it super opaque straight from the bullet or shear it out to make it into a gorgeous light flush of color. This isn’t the longest lasting formula but it’s ease as a multi functional product makes up for that by being super travel friendly. I’ve been enjoying the color Biscotti as my go to look for a solid 2 months now. If you wanna see how I created this Autumn ready …

November Empties | My Beautiful Trash

I love me a good empties post or video! It’s definitely not as glamorous as a haul- where everything is shinny and new and you’re so damn excited about all of it because you’ve only just become acquainted. But it’s much much more honest, and you get the real scoop on whether something is actually crap or not. I’ve been feeling the guilt of over consumption looming over my head like a blackened rain cloud these past weeks. It’s made me determined to get through the bulk of my stash and get myself to a manageable amount of product for one person. I’ve got a slew of post dated hauls coming forth but considering I only made my way through about a third of my saved empties in this video… expect a bundle of them in the near future. As you can tell from the video I am a bit of a fan of face mists (Pixi being my main girl in that category) but between mists and cleansers, which surprisingly only one made it in this video, …

A Sephora Haul From Ages Ago

Yup, The title is correct. I’ve got a Sephora Haul from way back in the summer, that I finally got around to filming mid September, and am just now uploading at the end of October. Can you tell I’ve got zero time management skills? I was given several Sephora gift cards for my Birthday back in August and put them to darn good use buying items I normally wouldn’t spend that much money on…. Ah, The glory of gift cards! I’ve had my eye on Korean Beauty brand Neogen Dermolagy for a while now, and got SUPER excited when I saw Sephora stocking an assortment of their items online. I opted for the Lemon Bio-Peel as my intro product to the range. I’m about out of my Pixi Glow Tonic and have been wanting to explore other acid toners. So far I’ve really been loving it. It’s great for hyper-pigmentation, and I had a few cystic type ass hats growing on my forehead that it helped kick to the curb. I think this is the beginning of a …

Current Favorites | The (mostly) Skincare Edition

Okay short attention span friends, here is the finale to my Current Favorites. AND, lucky for you, one of my shortest videos yet! (high fives self). I posted my Current Makeup Favorites last week (watch and read it here!) But now here is all the goop skincare wise (mostly) I’ve been slathering onto this body as of late. The video has the scoop, but there’s some sneak peaks and an abbreviated rundown below! I have not used faked tan since I turned myself into a streaked orange mess in grade school (which ultimately resulted in wearing long pants and sleeves in 90 degree weather). Since my wedding was coming up I wanted to add a little bit of color to this strobelight complexion of mine. I found some easy success with St Tropez’s In Shower Tan. A little pricey, but pretty fool proof for the tanning idiot like myself. Hair wise, I’ve been slipping some of Morrocanoil’s famous Hair Treatment on to these tresses of mine. The scent reminds me of walking the Jasmine lined streets …

Current Favorites | The Makeup Edition

It has been a bit (to say the least) since I sat down here and gushed about all the things I’ve been loving as of late. It’s been so long, and I’ve found so many things I want to rave on about, that I thought it better for all of our attention spans to break it up into two parts. Here we have my current Makeup Favorites, or rather, all the shit I’ve been painting onto my face for the last 3 or so months. There’s some sneak (photo) peaks below, but the video has the full scoop! A huge percentage of these guys I actually wore for my Wedding (mainly all the Lancome bits). That Teint Idole is no joke, it might not actually be 24hr wear but it sure got me through at least 10-12 hours of looking photo worthy! They didn’t just grace this face for my nuptials, I’ve been loving them all on the regular as well. The Juicy Shaker for instance has made my purse its’ home this summer. Cocktail inspired lip wear …

Shopping List | Whole Foods Beauty

Oh Whole Foods, how I bitter sweetly love you. I long for the day I can shop you and not feel the bite of my credit card after. Luckily for me, and well, YOU, Whole Foods’ beauty section is some how (mostly) spared from its normal aspirational pricing. I have found some darn right steals living on its shelves! Here are 7 of my current favorite skincare gems to buy from Whole Foods! Now unfortunately Whole Foods does not have an online retailer for their beauty stock, which they really really should! So for those interested and don’t have a Whole Foods available to them I included a couple link options for each item! I tried to include links that had similar pricing to what I payed at Whole Foods! This is a great, INTENSE, clay mask. I actually prefer to save this one for my back and chest area which are prone to congestion and black heads. I love how Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay really just pulls everything out, you will be red, …

Shopping List | April Beauty

All of March I was on a self imposed spending ban, so when the clock finally struck April I went a little crazy. Since I’m getting myself into the youtube scene, I decided to make a Haul vid (typical I KNOW), talking about all the shit I picked up! Love it if you Subscribed! Also, I joined the masses and finally got myself on Snapchat this past month (had to have some one much younger than me give me a tutorial on how to use it… #old) I’m under mytwopence. easy peasy. ~ The Stuff ~ Boots botanics Organic Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm Boots No7 Beautiful Skin Hydration Mask Simple Cleansing Micellar Water Nip + Fab Dragon’s Blood Fix Plumping Mask Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color in Flirt Essie Nail Polish in Sand Tropez Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation Blossom Jeju Pink Camellia Soombi Blooming Flower Toner Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 Luxe Apothecary Moroccan Clay + Rose Facial Mask  If any of you have tried anything I picked up I’d love to know your …

Favorites | April

Here we go again guys! Another month has gone by, so another favorites post and video is due! I was pleasantly surprised that the majority of my April favorites are bargain buys! NEAT. May is already shaping up to be a great month, already a bunch of new products in, adventures documented and DIYs ready to be made, so make sure you are subscribed to my channel! Lots of shit coming your way! This past month I experimented with contouring for the first time. I pick up the Makeup Revolution Ultra Contour Palette, and the new Contour Brush from E.L.F. Both made this total noob get better faster, with out breaking the bank on practice shots. I’ve been slowly trying out the Glossier product range, and the Milky Jelly Cleanser is definitely my favorite out of the bunch. It’s a nice mild cleanser, that does a nice job of cleaning the skin with out drying you out. Expect a full Glossier post in the very near future. Gotta give a hand to NYX Soft Matte …

Favorites | March

March, what happened, did I say something? You just left with no warning, total french exit dude. We did have some good moments, even if they were fleeting. Well, here they are folks, my March Favorites. I’m really trying to up my youtube game, so it would make this idiots day if you could watch and subscribe (like too if you feel so inclined). But as last time, if my voice is too grating, go ahead and just enjoy the words and picture below. (most of it’s all there)   This little rollerball from Nest has been in my handbag and on my wrist for the last four weeks. The mix of blood orange and white ginger make Paradise a perfect spring scent. Available at Sephora  Oh, and if you haven’t already, check out my Nest perfume guide here. I actually picked up this trio from Fresh back during the holidays but didn’t bust them out until this past month. Rose is a lovely bright pop on the lips and both Nude and Honey make for a gorgeous, …

Empties | #1

Well, I’ve gone off the fucking deep end. I started hoarding my trash in the far corners of my closet like some rat waiting for winter. The collection was bursting through its bag, so I figured it was time to pull a few items out, give them some words, then hand them over to the recycling gods.
